Curriculum at Brassall State School
Brassall State School utilises, adopts and implements resources from Curriculum into the Classroom (C2C) to support the implementation of the Australian Curriculum to ensure consistency and rigour across the school.
At Brassall State School, our method of teaching is through using evidence based high impact teaching strategies. These include Explicit instruction to plan lessons and through the Gradual Release of Responsibility model to move students to a level where they are able to complete tasks independently and experience a sense of accomplishment and pride.
Our shared understanding of individualised education at Brassall State School involves knowing our learners through the identification of student needs and responding to them in a planned approach, where they are challenged, supported and encouraged to reach their potential.
